[Sportschosun reporter Jung Yoo-na] Choi Jung-hoon of Jannabi surprised viewers by revealing that he kept performing even after suffering a broken hand on a college festival stage.
Jannabi appeared on the KBS 2TV music talk show "The Seasons: Sung Si-kyung's Ear Candy," which aired on the 12th.
That day, Jannabi captivated the audience with a performance full of romance and emotion.
Choi Jung-hoon, who took the stage with a wrist cast, drew attention as he shared the story of the injury he sustained at a college festival. He said, "I had been going around to college festivals, and I wanted to make a cool entrance onto the stage, so I tried to run up two steps at a time and fell. I broke my hand while entering the stage. I went ahead and performed in that condition. Once I got into it, it didn't hurt." He added, "I thought I was fine, but after the show, an X-ray showed that it was broken. They said I would need a cast for two weeks."
Jannabi visited a total of 11 universities this year, and Choi Jung-hoon expressed his special affection for the energy of college festivals, saying, "I get a lot of great energy. I receive a lot of spiritual strength. It feels like my soul is being healed."
Meanwhile, Choi Jung-hoon recently drew attention when he shed tears during a performance at a college festival stage. At the time, he said, "I've been in a band for 12 years, and this was the first time my voice didn't come out, so I was flustered." He added, "But all of you sang loudly with me. I think I'll be able to stand on stage without getting flustered from now on," expressing his sincerity.
As the scene spread quickly online, various speculations followed. Some internet users raised split rumors, suggesting that there may have been a change in Choi Jung-hoon's relationship with Han Ji-min, whom he has been publicly dating since 2024. However, Choi Jung-hoon and Han Ji-min are reportedly still maintaining a good relationship as always.
