[Sportschosun Kim Soo-hyun] Shownu of the group Monsta X raised expectations by hinting at a bold style for this year’s WATERBOMB Music Festival stage.
In a YouTube video released on the 28th on Jo Hyun Ah's Ordinary Thursday Night, Monsta X members Shownu and Hyungwon appeared and showed off their witty banter.
During the episode, Shownu’s style became a hot topic, as he draws attention every year with his WATERBOMB fashion, much like singer Kwon Eun-bi, who is known as the "WATERBOMB goddess."
Jo Hyun-ah asked the two, "Have you prepared for WATERBOMB again this year?" and wondered about their outfits. In response, Hyungwon made everyone laugh by saying, "Actually, when it comes to WATERBOMB, it’s more Shownu hyung than me..." and pointed to Shownu’s overwhelming presence.
Shownu said, "I haven’t prepared my outfit yet," but still showed a confident attitude.
When Jo Hyun-ah asked, "Could it be that you don’t have an outfit at all?" Shownu replied, "Since it’s WATERBOMB, I think I’ll probably go with a minimal outfit," joking about "saving on fabric" and sending the set into laughter.
Hyungwon also lightened the mood even more by joking, "Hyung’s body is his outfit. I wear what’s left over after making his clothes."
As Shownu has drawn attention every year on the WATERBOMB Music Festival stage with his daring style and solid physique, interest is now focused on how he will appear this year.
