[Sportschosun Jung Yoo-na] Broadcaster Jun Hyun-moo shared an update on his father, who is battling an illness.
On the MBC variety show "I Live Alone," which aired on the 12th, Jun Hyun-moo's day with his newly adopted dog was revealed.
That day, Jun Hyun-moo introduced the dog he had adopted for his parents, saying, "Part two of my five-year filial piety project!" and "A 70-day-old puppy rescued from a breeding facility."
Jun Hyun-moo briefly brought the puppy home to take care of its vaccinations, then called his father.
When Jun Hyun-moo asked, "Are you going to the hospital, Dad?" his father replied, "They said I come in every three months for X-rays and CT scans to check whether there is anything bad." When Jun Hyun-moo asked, "So is everything going well for now?" his father answered, "Yes."
The Rainbow members said they were surprised, noting, "This is the first time we've heard your father's voice." They also drew attention by telling Jun Hyun-moo, "For someone you called an unfilial son, he's incredibly affectionate."
Earlier, Jun Hyun-moo revealed that his father was ill while accepting the grand prize at the 2025 KBS Entertainment Awards. In January, he also appeared on KBS 2TV's "Problem Child in House" and spoke candidly about his father's condition, saying, "He is currently hospitalized. His blood sugar is high, his vascular health is poor, and he is undergoing dialysis. He gets dialysis three times a week, and it is difficult."
