[Sportschosun Jung Yoo-na] Actress Hwang Jung-eum candidly revealed why she has come to prefer eco-bags over luxury bags.
On the 17th, a video titled "A day full of blessings while taking care of the kids" was uploaded to Hwang Jung-eum's YouTube channel.
That day, Hwang Jung-eum invited the filming staff to her home and shared a glimpse of her everyday life. She showed them around her neatly organized house and said, "If you go up to the second floor, you might be surprised."
She then revealed a space filled with eco-bags and said, "These days, I don't buy luxury bags at all. Eco-bags are so convenient." She added, "Chanel bags are heavy, aren't they? These bags cost 10,000 to 20,000 won, and even the expensive ones are only around 100,000 won. They are really light."
She went on to say, "As I get older, my body feels more tired, so light and comfortable things are the best. Now I look for practical items rather than things meant to show off."
In particular, Hwang Jung-eum showed her generous side by giving unused bags to the staff. She explained, "I usually buy gifts in advance." She added, "If I buy them during a sale, I can get a discount and hand them out right away when needed, which also saves time."
Meanwhile, Hwang Jung-eum took time away from the spotlight last year after becoming embroiled in controversy over allegations that she embezzled 4.3 billion won in company funds.
