[Sportschosun Reporter Jung Yoo-na] Actress Ko So-young candidly shared her concerns about her style.
On the 16th, a video titled "Why Ko So-young Doesn't Suit Long Hair (+Rarely, Face Evaluation)" was uploaded to Ko So-young's YouTube channel. The video released that day depicted Ko So-young boldly cutting the long hair she had maintained for 35 years and attempting a bob style.
Ko So-young confessed, "I think I've had long hair since I was young," adding, "I've tried cutting it and dyeing it, but I don't think I've ever had a pretty bob. " She then explained the reason for seeking counseling, stating, "I wanted to hear an expert's opinion on what style suits my face shape and image.
" After meeting style consultant Rarely, Ko So-young candidly shared her concerns regarding styling. Ko So-young said, "It has been a long time since I started my career, but back then, there was no such thing as style consulting.
" She continued, "I don't think I've ever seriously considered, 'What style suits me?' I just wore the clothes given to me and got the makeup done for me. " She added, "I would like you to tell me from an expert's perspective what style suits me.
" She confessed, "I am much more easily swayed than I thought. When I watch makeup videos, I follow along because they say applying blush here makes me look younger, but in another video, they recommend a different spot because it makes me look like a beginner.
" She added, "Whenever that happens, I wonder, 'So, have I been doing things wrong all this time?'" She continued, "Since I don't have my own standards, I feel like I get easily swayed. I really want to find the style that suits me best in my lifetime.
" The style consultant then discussed Ko So-young's face shape and She analyzed her facial features and received advice on her fashion style. The hairstyle analysis revealed that a bob would suit her particularly well.
The consultant advised, "The shorter the hair gets, the more her natural sexy and intellectual image is highlighted," adding, "I recommend a neat bob style with earrings as an accent. " After the consultation, Ko So-young actually cut her hair to embark on an image transformation.
