[Sportschosun Reporter Jung Yu-na] Seo Hyun-jin, a former announcer and now broadcaster, expressed discomfort after witnessing a parent’s excessive discipline at a cafe.
On the 17th, Seo Hyun-jin shared what happened at the time on her SNS, along with a photo from a franchise cafe she had visited.
She said she was troubled by the loud shouting inside the cafe, writing, "I feel awful because a mother has been yelling at a 6- or 7-year-old child and teaching math for 30 minutes in one corner."
She then quoted the parent’s words directly, writing, "Do you know what I mean or not? Don't do that! Sit up straight, solve this! Hey, Ddang-ddang!! Think a little and answer..."
Seo Hyun-jin also shared her own view, saying, "I'm a math quitter, so if my child asks me anything, I wouldn't know, and I can't even help with homework. I think this is better," and added, "Hey... tone down the hysteria..."
Meanwhile, Seo Hyun-jin was formerly an announcer at MBC. She married an otolaryngologist in 2017 and gave birth to a son in 2019.
