[Sportschosun Reporter Jung Yu-na] TWICE's Jeongyeon showed off a more radiant look after overcoming Cushing's syndrome, marking what fans called a new personal best. At the same event, Sana also spoke candidly about the clothing-related issue.
On the 18th, a photo session was held to celebrate the opening of a pop-up store for a fermented health drink brand, and all members of TWICE attended the event.
In particular, Jeongyeon drew attention that day with her dazzling visuals.
Jeongyeon wore a white spaghetti-strap dress and drew admiration for her slimmer figure and pure, elegant aura, showing off her refreshed beauty.
Jeongyeon had previously faced health difficulties due to Cushing's syndrome. After undergoing surgery for a neck disc issue in 2020, she took steroids during treatment and developed Cushing's syndrome as a side effect, which led to a rapid weight gain. Since then, she has steadily managed her health and body shape through consistent care and exercise. After returning to TWICE activities, she has continued performing with stable condition and has received strong support from fans.
Meanwhile, Sana, who attended the event as well, drew attention for her bold no-pants fashion.
Sana appeared in a dress with a striking floral pattern. In particular, the way the hem seemed to fold inward revealed matching patterned bottoms, sparking discussion.
As the controversy continued, Sana addressed the issue directly through the fan communication platform Bubble. She explained, "When I tried it on, I wore it so the middle wouldn't open, but I was so distracted when I went in that I couldn't check the mirror. I only realized after I got into the waiting room that it had been photographed like that." She then added honestly, "I was already upset that I couldn't go out looking the same way as during the fitting, and all the talk about it makes me even more upset."
