[Sportschosun, Jung Yu-na] Kim Dong-hyun's wife, who is pregnant with their fourth child, drew attention after sharing her candid thoughts about having a fifth.
On the 18th, Kim Dong-hyun's YouTube channel featured his wife, who is currently pregnant with their fourth child, speaking openly about childbirth and life in a postpartum care center.
That day, Kim Dong-hyun sent words of encouragement to expectant parents preparing for childbirth.
He said, "It may be very hard right now, but there will be so many happy days ahead." He added, "There is a saying that children repay their parents when they are young, and I think that is really true." His wife laughed and agreed, saying, "That must be why people keep having babies."
Kim Dong-hyun then revealed, "Not long ago, my wife said something scary. Even though she hasn't given birth to our fourth child yet, she said, 'I should have had a vasectomy after having our fifth child.'" The remark drew laughter.
His wife then said, "I think I had a vasectomy too early and too hastily," drawing further attention.
Earlier, the doctor in charge of Kim Dong-hyun's wife explained that there was a risk of uterine rupture and postpartum bleeding during the delivery of their fourth child. As labor continued, the risk increased. Kim Dong-hyun said he hoped she would make it through to the delivery date without strain and safely.
Meanwhile, Kim Dong-hyun married in 2018 and has one son and two daughters. Their fourth child is due in September. He also recently said that the fourth pregnancy happened just before his vasectomy.
