As SBS variety show 'Matchmaking in Quarantine 2' is set to premiere on Thursday the 25th, Lee Yo-won draws attention by sharing some good news.
Lee Yo-won says, "There is a huge piece of happy news right from the start," adding, "Jang Min-cheol and Kim Jin-ju, the final couple from season 1, have set their wedding date for this fall." Seo Jang-hoon then adds, "Viewers may think, 'Oh, they will never actually get married,' but they really are. Their wedding seems to prove once again that the participants on 'Matchmaking in Quarantine' came here with real sincerity." With that, expectations are rising for the new season and the stories of the sons and mothers who have boarded the 'express train to marriage.'
Meanwhile, Seo Jang-hoon, Lee Yo-won, and Kim Yo-han watch the new mother-son and mother-daughter pairings and say in unison, "It seems even stronger now." Viewers will see the children making direct, forward-moving flirtations such as, "I have dated enough. Now I want to get married," and "You made the world start to feel brighter," while the mothers add even more pressure with remarks like, "Education and jobs matter," "Mothers do not like it when someone is too young," and "I have seen many people divorce because of religion." As conflict between parents and children deepens and the appearance of a father is also teased, Lee Yo-won and Kim Yo-han reportedly cannot hide their surprise, saying, "Now the father's faith is showing up too?" Seo Jang-hoon is said to break into a sweat, noting, "The mothers seem even stronger now."
Meanwhile, 'Matchmaking in Quarantine 2' is a surreal reality dating show that follows 10 single men and women who want to get married and 10 mothers who want to see their children married, as they live together in one space for five nights and six days and pursue a single goal: marriage. It airs every Thursday at 9 p.m.
