[Sportschosun, Reporter Jung Yu-na] Ji Ye-eun of "Running Man" showed her affection for her boyfriend Vata after getting upset over the cast’s teasing remarks about him.
On the June 14 episode of SBS "Running Man," the members visited Kim Dong-hyun’s home for a chaotic housewarming race.
During the car ride that day, the conversation turned to Mimi’s love life.
When asked about her ideal type, Mimi said, "I like someone bright and hardworking. They also shouldn’t drink or smoke."
Ji Ye-eun agreed, saying, "They shouldn’t drink," and Jee Seok-jin then brought up Ji Ye-eun’s boyfriend Vata, asking, "Doesn’t Vata drink?"
Ji Ye-eun confidently replied, "He doesn’t," but Yang Se-chan, who was listening, joked, "He drinks about a bottle. He really goes for it."
Ji Ye-eun then protested, saying, "No, he doesn’t," and added, "Don’t say anything when you don’t even know my boyfriend," drawing laughter with her frustration.
Kim Jong-kook also teased her, asking, "When you go overseas for performances, there must be a lot of after-parties. Do you check by video call?" Ji Ye-eun strongly defended Vata, saying, "My boyfriend isn’t like that. Don’t talk about my boyfriend like that," which drew attention.
Meanwhile, Ji Ye-eun confirmed her relationship with choreographer Vata in April. The two, both born in 1994, were reportedly church friends before their relationship turned romantic.
