[Sportschosun reporter Jung Yu-na] Actress Baek Jin-hee revealed a college-era incident that became the decisive reason she quit drinking.
On the 23rd, a video titled "Baek Jin-hee's College Rookie Days Exposed by Her Real College Friends! The Reason She Quit Drinking" was uploaded to Baek Jin-hee's YouTube channel.
That day, Baek Jin-hee headed to Chuncheon to meet her college classmates. "One friend lives in Chuncheon and another lives in Yangpyeong County," she said. "I'm going to see my friends after a long time," she added, showing her excitement.
After meeting her friends, Baek Jin-hee reminisced about their school days and talked with them. Her friends especially recalled her college entrance days and made everyone laugh by saying, "We heard an entertainer had come, so we even looked you up."
Her friends also revealed the story behind why Baek Jin-hee quit drinking. After going through a difficult time in college, Baek Jin-hee went out drinking with friends in Itaewon and admitted that she was heavily intoxicated at the time.
"I drank a lot back then. We went through eight bottles of soju. But I got drunk and disappeared, so my friends were in a panic," Baek Jin-hee recalled.
She went on to say, "The next day, I found that I had lost my earrings, rings, and bracelet, and the taxi fare had been ripped off, coming to more than 80,000 won. I was so scared of myself at the time. After that, I quit drinking."
