[Sportschosun, Reporter Jo Min-jeong] Actress Gong Hyo-jin showed her unwavering affection by making a special appearance in her husband Kevin Oh's new music video.
Kevin Oh released the music video for his new song, "My Girl," on his official YouTube channel on the afternoon of the 23rd.
The video opens with Kevin Oh standing alone on a desolate beach. Lost in thought amid the quiet scenery, he soon spots a woman walking freely along the shore. Wearing a white dress, she moves as if dancing with the wind and roams the beach. Meanwhile, Kevin Oh crouches beside a bird drawing in the sand, creating a lonely mood.
The woman's face is not shown until the middle of the music video. In the latter half, however, it is revealed that the person is Gong Hyo-jin, bringing a pleasant surprise.
In the ending scene, Kevin Oh and Gong Hyo-jin are seen lying side by side on the sand, holding hands. As the camera slowly pulls back, it is revealed that they were lying on a beach with a house drawn on it, leaving a warm afterglow. Although Gong Hyo-jin appears without any lines, her natural gestures and free-spirited presence complete the video's emotional tone. The fact that the work features the real-life couple also gave fans a special sense of meaning.
Right after the music video was released, fans reacted with comments such as, "Their chemistry is so good," "She had a short appearance, but her presence was huge," and "It feels even more exciting because they are a real-life couple."
Meanwhile, Gong Hyo-jin and Kevin Oh held a private wedding ceremony in New York in 2022.
