[Sportschosun, Reporter Lee Ji-hyun] Singer Lee Hyo-ri showed her unwavering affection for her husband, Lee Sang-soon, proving that their marriage still has the same warmth even after 12 years.
On the first episode of JTBC’s variety show "Love War," which aired on the 23rd, MCs Lee Hyo-ri, broadcaster Seo Jang-hoon, and Kim Hee-chul watched real couples share their relationship troubles. Yuri appeared as the first guest.
The show featured the story of a couple who had been living together for three years. After coming home from work, the boyfriend spent time watching short-form videos in the bathroom instead of talking with his girlfriend, and she expressed how hurt she felt by his behavior.
Lee Hyo-ri reacted with disbelief. "When you get home from work, the thing you should want to see is Chaerin’s face, not short-form videos," she said, voicing her frustration.
When Seo Jang-hoon replied, "Still, you’ve lived together for three years, haven’t you?" Lee Hyo-ri immediately brought up her own marriage and showed just how deeply she feels about it.
Lee Hyo-ri said, "No, we’ve lived together for 12 years!" She then added, "You want to look at each other’s faces and talk. What did you do today?" revealing a glimpse of her daily life with Lee Sang-soon. She went on to say of the situation, "That just won’t do. It’s so sad."
In another scene, when the girlfriend said, "My boyfriend hasn’t been physically affectionate for a year," Lee Hyo-ri drew laughter with her over-the-top reaction, saying, "If you’re not going to do it, then don’t even touch me."
Meanwhile, Lee Hyo-ri and Lee Sang-soon married in 2013 and lived in Jeju Island before moving to Seoul, where they currently reside. Through broadcasts and social media, the couple has consistently shown affection for each other and remains one of the entertainment industry’s most beloved model couples.
