[Sportschosun Reporter Jung Yu-na] Broadcaster Park Ji-yoon has spoken out directly about the 'Mukbang rumors' surrounding her.
Park Ji-yoon recently connected with fans by sharing a video of herself eating noodles on Social Network Service (SNS). She is known for group-buying food products and for showcasing a variety of Mukbang content, earning a reputation as a foodie. That day, too, she posted a video of herself eating.
After watching the clip, one netizen asked, "I always feel like the video gets cut off in the middle when you eat. Are you speeding it up?"
In response, Park Ji-yoon said, "I edit it because it's too long," and added, "(If you mean that I edit it without eating, send me a DM. I'll send you the full version.)" She playfully addressed the rumors surrounding her.
Another netizen then commented, "Sorry, but I don't think anyone would suspect you of editing it without eating."
Park Ji-yoon replied, "I get asked all the time whether I just post photos without eating. Even people around my acquaintances say they are constantly being asked about it!" She opened up about the misunderstandings she has often faced.
In particular, Park Ji-yoon drew attention with her candid reaction, even saying she would send the full version of the video.
Meanwhile, Park Ji-yoon married Choi Dong-seok in 2009 and they have one son and one daughter. The couple split in 2023 and are currently in divorce proceedings. Park Ji-yoon currently holds custody and parental rights, while Choi Dong-seok sees the children through visitation.
