[Sportschosun reporter Jung Yu-na] Ok-soon from Season 22 and her husband Kyung-soo, who appeared on "I Am Solo," expressed discomfort over a series of remarks made by Young-soo from Season 32 and sharply criticized him.
On the 25th, a video titled "So you’re only going to sample the divorced-people edition of Na-sol?" was uploaded to the YouTube channel "Pure Milk."
In the video, Ok-soon and Kyung-soo watched the Season 32 cast members introduce themselves and unfold their love lines, offering candid reactions throughout. The two prepared fruit and snacks and watched the show outdoors while sharing their thoughts.
On the show, Young-soo, a divorced man without children, returned to the lodging and opened up after some of the divorced women appeared reluctant about having children. He said, "After hearing the self-introductions, I feel like there has been a huge change. I’ve thought about it very seriously," adding, "My position is that children should be born."
He went on to say, "There are so many hard things in the world, but raising a child is your own child. I don’t see why it should be that difficult. You can just raise them physically." He added, "I may be speaking too casually, but without children, a marriage is too fragile. You can just walk out and file a lawsuit, and that’s the end of it." Young-soo also said, "Everyone may have their own circumstances, but since there are children, shouldn’t I just protect the family?" The divorced men with children who heard this fell silent and appeared deep in thought.
Watching the scene, Ok-soon was stunned and said, "What is he even talking about? Has he never seen his own nephew?" Kyung-soo also criticized him, saying, "I can’t defend that. I don’t think that’s something a divorced person should say." He then added, "It tramples on the wounds and years of pain that divorced parents with children have gone through," and Ok-soon nodded in agreement.
In another scene, a 4-on-1 date involving Team Ok-soon was shown. During the date, Ok-soon said she was raising a 16-year-old dog, and Young-soo responded, "You should prepare yourself," freezing the atmosphere on the spot.
Young-soo immediately apologized, but the mood quickly turned cold. Seeing this, Kyung-soo said, "Honestly, he’d have no right to complain even if he were cursed out," adding, "For example, if someone said, 'My mother is sick,' and you replied, 'You should prepare yourself,' it would be no different."
Meanwhile, Ok-soon from Season 22 and Kyung-soo appeared on the divorced-people special of SBS PLUS and ENA's "I Am Solo" and later became a couple. They registered their marriage in May last year and became a legal married couple, and they held their wedding ceremony in November. Ok-soon is raising a son, while Kyung-soo is raising a daughter, forming a family of four.
