[Sportschosun Jung Bit] Producer/Director Lee Jin-ju shared her thoughts on meeting Netflix.

At the production presentation for Netflix’s daily variety show "Love Experiment," held on the 23rd at the Stanford Hotel in Sangam-dong, Seoul, Lee said, "This is my first time working with a global OTT platform," adding, "It’s a new challenge, so I feel I need to work even harder."

"Love Experiment" is a dating observation variety show that captures the love cells of participants as they instinctively awaken in the face of unimaginable and bizarre situations.

In particular, the show is drawing attention as a new dating program from Lee Jin-ju, who won widespread love for the distinctive concepts, stylish direction, and detailed portrayal of relationships in the "Transit Love" series and "Love Siblings."

Lee hinted, "When we were discussing 'Transit Love' or 'Love Siblings,' there were ideas like, 'Wouldn't it be nice to film a show like this?' But both programs also had the downside of needing to follow 10 people over a long period. It’s nice that I can work with a variety of people."

Regarding the move from TVING and Wavve to Netflix, she said, "This is the first time the show will be available on a global OTT platform. I ended up searching in English. But there were quite a lot of posts. People in many countries were following and mentioning it. It made me feel really good. It felt like I was taking on a new challenge, and I thought I should work even harder," she said with a nod.

"Love Experiment" will premiere its first and second episodes together on Netflix at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 17.
