[Sportschosun Lee Ge-eun] NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang will share behind-the-scenes stories from his meeting with Korea's business leaders, along with his life story.
The Oct. 10 episode of tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block' will feature Jensen Huang, the Roller Coaster Siblings, who drew 22 million views, and Kim Shin-young, who is enjoying a second peak in popularity thanks to yo-yo dieting.
Huang will appear on the variety show for the first time in the world, drawing attention. He starts off by giving Yoo Jae-suk the nickname "MC Champion," showing their playful chemistry from the beginning. He recently made headlines for a samgyeopsal dinner with top executives from Korea's business world, and he will openly reveal the story behind that meeting as well as the origin of his signature leather jacket style. He will also show his love for K-pop, expressing his fandom for Hwasa and even previewing his own dance to "Golden."
The episode will also tell the movie-like story of how a boy who immigrated to the United States at age 9 and washed dishes at a restaurant became the CEO of a company valued at about 8 quadrillion won. Huang will share his philosophy that "whatever you do, you have to give it 100%." He will also reveal a love story from his college days, when he sent his future wife a homework-related flirtation. In addition, he will talk about the time NVIDIA was only 30 days away from bankruptcy, the days when he personally visited Yongsan Electronics Market to hand out business cards, and his special bond with Korea as it grew alongside the country.
That day, Huang will also offer advice to the guests. From a story about someone who lost everything in stocks to questions about the kind of talent needed in the AI era, he will answer with his trademark insight and share his life philosophy: "Failure is growth" and "To become great, you have to go through hardship." Yoo Jae-suk was said to be so impressed by Huang's stream of memorable lines that he grabbed both of his hands and exclaimed, "Brother," and "This is the kind of ideal I aspire to."
The show will also feature a lively and varied conversation, from a balance game asking which of Lee Jae-yong, Chung Eui-sun and Chey Tae-won he is closest to, to a face-reading analysis by fortune teller Park Seong-jun. Viewers will be able to see stories about NVIDIA's corporate culture, as well as Huang's heartfelt advice to young people, in the full broadcast.
Meanwhile, Huang left the country on the 9th after completing a five-day, four-night schedule. He had a samgyeopsal and soju gathering with Chey Tae-won of SK Group, Koo Kwang-mo of LG Group and Lee Hae-jin, chairman of Naver, and packed his schedule with a ceremonial first pitch at Jamsil Baseball Stadium, a meeting with AI startups and filming for 'You Quiz on the Block.'
