[Sportschosun Kim Joon-seok] Actress Hwang Jung-eum cheerfully shared that she has cleared out the sofa that held memories of her ex-husband Lee Young-don.
In a YouTube video released on the 10th, Hwang invited the production team into her home and showed them around the spaces that had changed.
When the front door opened, she ran out barefoot to greet them warmly and laughed, saying, "I sent the kids to school and cleaned the house a lot, so my whole body hurts."
She then explained why she lives barefoot, saying, "It costs nothing and it's good for your health."
While looking around the house, the production team brought up the living room sofa that had been shown in a previous video.
In an earlier video, Hwang had revealed the red sofa she used and the green sofa used by her ex-husband, Lee Young-don.
When the team asked, "Where did all of your ex-husband Lee Young-don's sofas go?" Hwang drew laughter by answering without hesitation, "I sold them all on a secondhand marketplace."
In fact, both sofas that once filled one side of the living room were gone.
Most of the potted plants that had filled the home right after the move were also gone, and the children's toys and household items were neatly organized, giving the house a noticeably different feel.
Hwang had previously spoken directly about how much she liked the sofa.
Pointing to the red sofa, she said, "I think I used it for more than 10 years. It doesn't look like it, but it's an extremely expensive sofa," adding, "I bought it because I was told red was a good color for my fortune at the time."
At the time, the red and green sofas they had bought during their newlywed days stood side by side, but they have since reportedly been sold through a secondhand trading platform.
That day, Hwang also showed her affection for running her YouTube channel. When asked whether she had checked the response to her first video, she joked, "I did. Don't I only look at my own stuff?" and added, "I think I've watched it about 200 times," drawing laughter.
