[Sportschosun reporter Kim Jun-seok] Broadcaster Ji Yeon-su candidly shared that the absurd fake news surrounding her was even more ridiculous than the news of her ex-husband Eli’s remarriage.
On the 22nd, a video titled "What I Think About Remarriage...? Ji Yeon-su’s Honest Feelings" was released on the YouTube channel Yeonsurobda.
In the video, Ji Yeon-su spoke openly about her thoughts on her ex-husband Eli, who recently announced his remarriage, as well as her own views on remarriage.
She said she already knew Eli was getting married, but did not know when. "The first thing that came to mind was Minsu’s school," she said. "I was most worried that he might hear things from people around him and get hurt."
"We congratulated him," she added. "Minsu and I have already found happiness together, and I think he is reaching that same happiness a little later than I did. Since he has made that decision, I hope he lives well."
What really left her stunned, however, was not Eli’s remarriage news but the absurd fake news about herself.
Ji Yeon-su said, "While watching YouTube, I saw stories saying that I had remarried." She added, "They even said I remarried a dentist five years younger than me and had a daughter."
"Bring him here. Where is that man now?" she said, laughing off the rumor. "Who is this five-years-younger dentist I have never even met?"
She explained, "Things completely unrelated to my life were being presented as if they had actually happened." She added, "I realized I need to keep my distance from those kinds of YouTube videos and fake news."
As for remarriage plans, she said, "It is not that I have no thoughts about remarriage," but added, "It does not mean I want to meet no one, but I also do not want to meet just anyone."
In particular, she said, "Minsu’s father was the last man in my last flirtation, relationship, marriage, and divorce." She added, "Since then, I have not exchanged contact information with even one person. I did not have the time or the room for that."
When asked about her ideal type, she replied, "A man who has completed military service, graduated from high school, and does not drink," drawing laughter.
