[Sportschosun Kim Joon-seok] Broadcaster Lalal expressed disbelief over the never-ending rumors that she is pregnant with her second child.
On the 22nd, a video titled "Co-Parenting Between an Elephant and a Hippo | Lalal & Pungja's Story Party" was uploaded to the YouTube channel Pungja TV.
That day, Pungja visited Lalal's new home for a housewarming and talked about a wide range of topics, including parenting and married life.
During their conversation, Pungja mentioned, "I went to Bali recently, and I saw rumors that you were pregnant," and Lalal immediately opened up about the difficulties caused by the second pregnancy speculation.
Lalal said, "The pregnancy rumors came up," adding, "Someone who did not actually recognize me asked, 'Oh, are you here because you're pregnant with your second child?'"
She then laughed and said, "I was shocked because that person really didn't know me, but still said that."
She continued, "A lot of people also asked if I went on a full-term trip for my second pregnancy," and complained, "It feels like the articles are trying to bait people."
In particular, Lalal drew attention when she said, "People should know how scary the law is," and added, "This needs to be dealt with somehow through the law. Those rumors have been going around for two years."
Pungja said, "Marriage seems to change people," and added, "The old Lalal seemed like someone far removed from marriage or parenting, but now she's doing so well that it's amazing."
In response, Lalal honestly admitted, "In the past, I liked drinking and smoking, and I lived without thinking about tomorrow," adding, "I thought I was someone who should never get married."
She recalled, "I couldn't even take care of myself, so I thought starting a family made no sense," and said she had planned to travel alone and live that way.
But after having her daughter Seobin, her thoughts changed completely.
Lalal confessed, "I wonder if I could have understood a mother's heart this deeply without Seobin," adding, "Raising a child also changed how I feel about my parents."
She also said, "In the past, what my mother said sounded like nagging, but now I understand why she said those things," sharing how her values changed after becoming a parent.
Meanwhile, Lalal married a non-celebrity husband last year and welcomed her daughter Seobin. She is currently balancing parenting and broadcasting work, and continues to receive much love from the public.
