Lee Jae-wook will release his first single album, "Shadow," at 6 p.m. on the 11th.
"Shadow" is an album that captures the beginning and end of love, as well as the traces of emotion left behind afterward. Lee Jae-wook, who enlisted in the military in May, prepared it as a special gift for fans, and 2AM's Lim Seul-ong took part in production.
The title track, "Shadow," expresses the feeling of being unable to break free from the afterimage of love. It combines a powerful band sound with delicate emotion. Another track, "Our Season," blends a minimalist rock sound with lyrical melodies, and Lee Jae-wook also took part in writing and composing it.
Ahead of the official album release, Lee Jae-wook unveiled a live clip teaser for "Shadow" at 6 p.m. on the 9th. The video shows him holding a microphone and performing with the band session. Even the short preview of the song reveals a clean yet powerful vocal, raising curiosity about the new release.
Lee Jae-wook is currently active in ENA's Monday-Tuesday drama "Doctor on the Edge," where he plays public health doctor Do Ji-eui. He is drawing attention for his wide-ranging performance, from a responsible and professional doctor to a more human side as he adapts to the harsh life on the island.
