Yang Hee-eun Discharged After Corneal Transplant Surgery, Eyes Covered with Bandages: "I’ve Been Lying Down Looking at the Ceiling"

[Sportschosun Jeong An-ji] Singer Yang Hee-eun has shared an update on her recovery after undergoing corneal transplant surgery.

On the 11th, Yang Hee-eun posted on her SNS that she had undergone corneal transplant surgery and, after being discharged, had to lie down for several days while looking at the ceiling.

Along with the post, she shared a photo showing one eye wrapped in a thick protective pad and bandage, reassuring worried fans.

Earlier, Yang Hee-eun missed the live broadcast of MBC Standard FM's "Women’s Era with Yang Hee-eun and Kim Il-jung" on the 9th because of eye surgery.

At the time, when a listener asked Kim Il-jung, "Is eye surgery a double-eyelid procedure?" he explained, "No. It is a vision-restoration surgery related to the cornea."

After being discharged, Yang Hee-eun smiled at the sight of her dog protecting her, saying, "Choco sits on my stomach to guard me, and even when Heekyung and Heejeong come near, she barks as if she is about to attack them."

She also drew attention by adding, "Am I a woman who only rests when she is in pain!?"

Meanwhile, many fans have been sending messages of support and wishing her a speedy recovery after hearing the news of her surgery, saying things like, "Is your eye okay?" and "I hope you recover quickly."
