[Sportschosun Reporter Park Araam] As news broke that actor Jung Kyung-ho and Girls' Generation member and actress Choi Soo-young had broken up, a fortune teller who had previously mentioned the possibility of their split is now drawing attention by predicting a possible reunion.
On the 11th, the YouTube channel "Myeongkwihan Myeongdoryeong" released a video titled "Why Jung Kyung-ho and Soo-young Broke Up, and Their Hidden Circumstances as Seen by a Practicing Shaman."
In the video, Myeong Do-ryeong said, "I felt heavy-hearted because a breakup-related prediction, which was not a good thing, actually came true," adding, "I realized I need to be much more careful with my words from now on."
He pointed to different views on marriage as the background to their breakup. According to him, Choi was eager to get married, while Jung took a more cautious approach and kept postponing a decision.
He also said Jung appeared to have been carrying many concerns about his own situation and future, and analyzed that this mindset likely affected the relationship as well. He added his personal view that someone in the family may have been uncomfortable with marriage.
Myeong Do-ryeong claimed, "Since both of them had been in the relationship for a long time, they probably sensed the current situation to some extent," and added, "As time passed without a chance to resolve the conflict, it seems they naturally reached a breakup."
He continued, "From Soo-young's perspective, Jung Kyung-ho may have seemed kind and considerate, but she may also have wanted him to take a more active role in leading the relationship," and said, "They cared for each other, but because they failed to create a decisive turning point, they seem to have grown tired in the end."
However, he said their connection was not completely over. Myeong Do-ryeong stated, "There still appears to be affection, concern, and consideration between them," and claimed, "If someone around them steps in to help maintain the relationship, there is a strong chance they could get back together."
He also added, "There also appears to be room for that reunion to lead to marriage," and said, "This breakup does not seem to be the first, as I sense a pattern of meeting and parting that may have happened before."
Meanwhile, Jung Kyung-ho and Choi Soo-young became a couple in 2012 and began their public relationship in 2014. The two were loved as one of the entertainment industry's longest-running couples, but they have now ended their 14-year romance and gone their separate ways.
