[Sportschosun, Park Ara] JTBC's new drama "Love Revisited" will pause filming for about a month as the production team reorganizes the project.
According to an exclusive report by The Korea Economic Daily on the 22nd, the production team recently informed the cast and crew that filming would be suspended. It is said to have told them that production would take a break for now to revise the script and refine the project.
"Love Revisited" is an office human melodrama about a divorced couple who end up sharing the same space and later meet again at work, where they come to understand each other in a new way. Kim So-yeon, Kim Ji-seok, Yoon Hyun-min, and Hwang Woo-seul-hye have confirmed their appearances, drawing strong attention.
Interest has also grown in the background of the sudden halt, as production had been under way with a target of airing in the second half of the year. Some observers speculated that the move may be linked to the recent corporate rehabilitation filings by major JoongAng Group affiliates, including JTBC, ContentreeJoongAng, and JoongAng Holdings.
However, people on set reportedly told The Korea Economic Daily, "We were informed that the production would take a break for about a month to reorganize the project."
In response, the "Love Revisited" team explained to The Korea Economic Daily, "We did not have enough script pages secured, and the rainy season also created variables for filming, so we adjusted the production schedule."
Meanwhile, JoongAng Group filed for corporate rehabilitation on the 15th for its major affiliates, including the holding company JoongAng Holdings, ContentreeJoongAng, Megabox Joongang, Jungang P&I, and JTBC. A related hearing is scheduled to take place at the Seoul Bankruptcy Court on the 23rd.
