[Sportschosun Park A-ram] Actress Oh Hye-soo has shared an update after a long hiatus, surprising fans by revealing that she got married and had a child.
On the 21st, Oh posted a lengthy message on her personal account and shared personal news she had not been able to tell her fans until now. As this was her first update in about two years since March last year, it drew a great deal of attention.
She said that her life had changed dramatically over the past few years and announced that she had a new family. Oh explained that she met a partner with whom she wanted to spend her life, started a family, and that her daily life changed completely after welcoming precious new people who meant everything to her.
She went on to say that spending time with her family became an opportunity to grow as a person, not just as an actress. She explained that she had been building new experiences in a different environment, which naturally led her to pause both her entertainment activities and social media use for a while.
She also expressed regret for not being able to share updates for such a long time. Oh thanked the fans who never forgot her and continued to support her, saying she deeply cherishes the interest and encouragement they showed during her hiatus.
She also stressed that her love for acting has not changed. Oh said she wants to return with good projects in the future and expressed her determination to resume her acting career. She added that she hopes to share not only her life as an actress, but also the various stories she experiences in everyday life, signaling more active communication with fans ahead.
Meanwhile, Oh, born in 1995, graduated from the K-Arts School of Drama, Department of Acting at Korea National University of Arts. She made her debut in the 2017 web drama Seventeen and left a strong impression in 2022 as Min Eun-ji in All of Us Are Dead. She later appeared in various works, including Extraordinary Attorney Woo, meeting viewers through a range of projects.

Hello, this is Oh Hye-soo.
It has really been a long time since I last greeted you.
I spent the past while quietly without giving any explanation, and I heard that many people were curious about how I was doing and were worried about me. So today, I would like to offer a belated greeting with sincerity.
A lot has changed in my life over the past few years.
I met the partner I want to spend my life with, started a new family, and met precious beings who completely changed my world.
My daily life began to be filled with a completely different kind of light. Through that process, I learned a great deal and grew, and I was able to reflect on myself as a person, not just as an actress.
As time passed that way, I naturally ended up leaving both my activities and this space empty for a long time. I am sorry for not sharing the news sooner.
Even so, I sincerely thank everyone who kept asking after me and waiting for me to return over such a long time. I always remember the support and warm hearts you sent me, even from out of sight.
I still love acting, and I want to continue greeting you with good projects and a good image as an actress.
At the same time, I hope to share little by little here not only the life of actress Oh Hye-soo, but also the various stories I experience and feel as a person. I would be grateful if you continue to stay with me.
