[Sportschosun Jung An-ji] Actor Han Sang-jin expressed frustration over the "playboy rumor" surrounding his dating days with his wife, coach Park Jung-eun.
On the 12th, tvN (Total Variety Network) released a preview for "You Quiz on the Block," featuring actor Han Sang-jin and basketball legend Park Jung-eun, under the title, "'Why Is Park Jung-eun Meeting a Playboy?' The Full Story Behind Han Sang-jin's Rumored Playboy Image, Which Triggered an Outburst of Frustration!"
In the video, Yoo Jae-suk brought up the couple's dating days and said, "Back then, people in the basketball community really said, 'Why is Park Jung-eun dating a playboy?' I just pulled that from the stories that were circulating at the time." His comment drew laughter.
Caught off guard by the unexpected remark, Han Sang-jin immediately denied it, saying, "Where did that story come from? That makes no sense." He then explained, "At the time, I was a theater actor working hard," and voiced his frustration.
Yoo Jae-suk explained, "At the time, Sang-jin seemed to have a bit of a playboy image. I think people were saying things like, 'Is he trying to distract Park Jung-eun, who was doing well as an athlete?'" Han Sang-jin responded, "That could be true," and admitted it.
Park Jung-eun also said, "That's right. Everyone around us was against it. I could have met someone better." Taken aback by his wife's unexpected revelation, Han Sang-jin joked, "What do you mean by that? Why did you invite me here too?"
Meanwhile, Han Sang-jin and Park Jung-eun married in 2004 and have long been loved as one of the entertainment and sports worlds' most affectionate couples.
