[Sportschosun reporter Cho Yoon-sun] Jewelry moved fans to tears as the group performed with all members together for the first time in 20 years.
On the 12th, a video titled "Jewelry, the jewel of the music scene, full-lineup stage after 20 years" was released on the YouTube channel "Seo In-young's Gaegwacheonseon."
That day, Jewelry members Park Jung-ah, Lee Ji-hyun, Seo In-young, and Cho Minah performed a medley of hit songs, including "Again," "Tonight," "I Like You," and "Super Star," bringing back memories for fans.
Ha Ju-yeon, the youngest member, also joined the stage for "One More Time." The five members then sang "Love Story" in succession, shedding tears as they revisited their long friendship and shared memories, creating a deeply moving performance.
Leader Park Jung-ah said, "I am so grateful to In-young and the Gaegwacheonseon team for bringing all of Jewelry together for such a wonderful opportunity. It feels really strange." She added, "Doing something like this together meant a great deal to Jewelry, and I hope viewers felt that too."
Cho Minah, who is currently working as an insurance planner, also expressed her overwhelming emotions. She said, "I am grateful that so many people love 'Gaegwacheonseon In-young.' I am truly so happy and glad that a friend I cherish and love so much can be loved again and fully show her talent just as she used to." She added, "I hope there will be another great stage where we can perform together as Jewelry."
Earlier, Seo In-young had directly addressed rumors of a rift with Cho Minah on her YouTube channel. The two were swept up in speculation after Cho Minah did not attend Seo In-young's wedding in 2023. At the time, Cho Minah expressed hurt, saying, "I wasn't invited, so how would I have known to go?"
Seo In-young responded, "I had not been in contact with Minah. That was my fault. Minah has always reached out to me, but I was going through some difficult times." She continued, "Minah is not very good at saying blunt things. I wanted her to always tell me I was right, but I did not want to hear, 'I don't think that's quite right,' so I just stopped contacting her. I think that was my shortcoming. That is why I did not invite her to my wedding. I am sorry."
After clearing up the misunderstanding and meeting again, the two confirmed their unchanged friendship through this full-lineup stage. When asked whether she had missed the other members, Cho Minah said she had tried not to think about it on purpose, but added, "I really missed them."
Meanwhile, Jewelry, which debuted in 2001, originally consisted of four members: Park Jung-ah, Lee Ji-hyun, Jung Yoo-jin, and Jun Eun-mi. Jung Yoo-jin and Jun Eun-mi later left, and Seo In-young and Cho Minah joined as second-generation members. Jewelry won widespread love with a string of hits, including "Tonight," "I Like You," "Super Star," and "Fashion."
In 2006, Lee Ji-hyun and Cho Minah left the group. In 2008, Kim Eunjung and Ha Ju-yeon joined as new members, and the group enjoyed its peak with the hit song "One More Time." Later, Park Jung-ah and Seo In-young departed in 2011, and Kim Ye-won and Park Semi joined to continue the group, but it officially disbanded in 2015.
