Episode 2 of E Channel and Channel S's 'Dopbak Tour: Go All the Way!,' airing at 9 p.m. on the 13th, follows the five comedian friends Kim Dae-hee, Kim Jun-ho, Jang Dong-min, Yoo Se-yoon, and Hong In-gyu as they travel to Sri Lanka, the "jewel of the Indian Ocean," and pray earnestly at Kataragama Temple.
That day, the 'Dopbakz' arrived in Kataragama, a local landmark known as a "wish hotspot," and bought coconuts. They were preparing for a coconut-breaking ritual, in which the "sacred fruit" is smashed hard against the temple altar. Hong In-gyu explained that "the more finely the coconut breaks, the more likely the wish is to come true," putting the group on edge.
Kim Jun-ho then smashed his coconut hard, saying, "I hope our Ji-min stays healthy and that a beautiful baby is conceived between us." But the coconut would not break at all, leaving both Kim Jun-ho and the 'Dopbakz' flustered. Yoo Se-yoon joked, "Maybe this time, conception just isn't happening," and Kim Jun-ho, looking troubled, asked, "Should I buy another coconut?" Hong In-gyu then reassured him by saying there was a place nearby where people fill a bucket with water and pray.
Kim Jun-ho returned there and performed a "water bucket ritual," filling a bucket with sacred water and walking around the temple while praying for blessings. He then earnestly offered his prayers, saying, "I don't need any award this year. Please just let conception happen."
After completing the ritual without incident, the 'Dopbakz' had dinner at a barbecue restaurant set in nature, a place praised for its atmosphere. There, they ordered various barbecue dishes and talked about the punishment for the Sri Lanka episode's biggest loser. Hong In-gyu suggested a costume punishment, saying, "My mother-in-law laughed a lot when she saw Jun-ho hyung's 'Avatar costume' in China." Jang Dong-min asked, "Then how about a leopard, which is a symbol of Sri Lanka?" Hong In-gyu enthusiastically agreed, saying, "Dong-min hyung is great at costumes, so that would be perfect." The leopard costume was then confirmed as the punishment for the biggest loser. Attention is now focused on who will end up wearing the leopard costume and bringing big laughs in Sri Lanka.
Meanwhile, Kim Jun-ho married Kim Ji-min in July last year and recently said they are preparing for a child through in vitro fertilization.
On the YouTube channel 'Jun Ho Ji Min,' Kim Ji-min recently said, "The injections start the day after tomorrow," and Kim Jun-ho, hearing that, expressed excitement, saying, "If we conceive in February, the baby will be born in December."
Kim Jun-ho, who is not only abstaining from alcohol but also from smoking for the sake of having a child, also drew attention when he said, "If you don't smoke, you just stop smoking. When you think about your wife and child, you can quit out of duty and responsibility. That's how I was able to quit something I couldn't give up before."
