[Sportschosun Lee Ge-eun] Actress Son Tae-young let out a dry laugh as she shared an episode involving her son, Rook Hee.
On the 13th, the channel "Mrs. New Jersey Son Tae-young" released a video titled "72 Hours Vlog of Mom Son Tae-young, Free of Husband and Kids."
When an acquaintance asked, "Didn't Rook Hee go to Long Island last week too?" Son Tae-young said, "He has a friend there. He said he would stay with his friend and come back by train and Uber. But he called me early that morning. He said the trains were on strike. How am I supposed to go to Long Island, which is two and a half hours away, that morning?"
In the end, Rook Hee came home by Uber, and the fare came to a whopping $270. That was about 410,000 won. Her acquaintance was shocked, saying, "That's the price of a plane ticket," and Son Tae-young sighed.
Son Tae-young then tried to stay positive, saying, "If he had gone to Long Island anyway, he might have stayed overnight, so I told myself to think of it as the cost of one night."
Meanwhile, Kwon Sang-woo and Son Tae-young married in 2008 and have one son and one daughter. Son Tae-young currently lives in New Jersey for the education of their two children, while Kwon Sang-woo works back and forth between South Korea and the United States.
