[Sportschosun Joon-seok Kim] Broadcaster Lee Kyung-kyu has personally addressed rumors about his health.
The MBC variety show "Hangout with Yoo," which aired on the 13th, featured a special segment titled "The King's Variety Show" with "the king of entertainment" Lee Kyung-kyu and his "bodyguard" Lee Yoon-suk.
During the show, Yoo Jae-suk opened by telling Lee, "Lately, you've been filming golf content quite often with your older brother Kim Yong-man. I watch it a lot, and there were comments online saying you might have health issues."
Lee immediately dismissed the rumors, replying, "I have no problems at all. I'm fine."
Yoo also chimed in, saying, "You look very well today."
When Yoo then asked Lee Yoon-suk, "Why aren't you saying anything?" Lee Kyung-kyu joked, "I wouldn't let him jump in. He sends me signals," drawing laughter on set.
Earlier, Lee had sparked health concerns among some online users after speaking in a somewhat slurred manner in a recently released YouTube video.
Viewers who saw the video at the time expressed concern about his condition.
His agency later issued an official statement, saying, "He had a temporary dip in condition after back-to-back shoots that required long hours of physical exertion, including childcare and fishing," and added, "There is absolutely no problem with his health."
In this broadcast as well, Lee once again drew a clear line under the rumors by saying directly, "I'm fine."
