[Busan=Sportschosun, Baek Ji-eun] BTS’s 'homecoming' celebration lit up Busan.
BTS held their 'Arirang' world tour concert in Busan over two days, on the 12th and 13th, at Busan Asiad Main Stadium.
The concert carried special significance as a 'homecoming' stage held to coincide with BTS’s debut day, June 13, and as their first Busan performance in about three years and eight months since 'BTS Yet To Come in BUSAN,' the concert held in October 2022 before their military enlistment. About 110,000 fans attended over the two days, underscoring BTS’s global stature once again. Busan was also buzzing with an 'ARMY festival' atmosphere as BTS-related ads and promotional events ran from Busan Station to subway stations.
At the Busan concert for 'Arirang,' BTS will perform their existing hit songs as well as tracks from their fifth full-length album, Arirang. They will then head back out to the world stage. On July 19, they will connect with global fans through a halftime performance at the 2026 FIFA World Cup final at MetLife Stadium in the United States, along with their world tour.
