[Sportschosun, Reporter Lee Ge-eun] The mother of singer Lee Min-woo, formerly of Shinhwa, expressed frustration over having to care for the grandchildren alone.
The episode of KBS2's "Mr. House Husband Season 2" aired on the 13th and featured the story of Lee Min-woo and his wife, who went on their honeymoon to the Penghu Islands in Taiwan just two months after their wedding.
During the trip, Lee Min-woo made a video call to his mother. She looked worn out from taking care of the two grandchildren by herself. After asking, "How was your first night? Did you sleep well?" she complained, "You suddenly had Yangyang, your second child, and now do you know how hard this is for me?"
Lee Min-woo's wife was briefly taken aback, but replied, "My husband ate so many oysters yesterday and then passed out right away, so he didn't even earn the price of the oysters."
The couple then visited a fortune teller. Lee Min-woo asked, "I don't know when it will be, but does my fortune show that I will have a son?" The fortune teller replied, "It could happen in the second half of next year," drawing attention. Lee Min-woo could not hide his smile at the thought of becoming a doting father to a son.
Meanwhile, Lee Min-woo married Lee Ami, a third-generation Korean resident in Japan who is 11 years younger than him, in March. His wife is a single mother with a daughter. The two registered their marriage last year and welcomed a daughter in December of the same year.
