[Sportschosun Reporter Jeong An-ji] Park Soo-hong and Kim Da-ye have revealed their plans for a second child.
On the 15th, a video titled "Answering for the First Time... Dahong and Jaei's Everything, and the Story of Park Soo-hong and His Wife" was uploaded to the YouTube channel Happy Dahong.
In the video, Park Soo-hong and Kim Da-ye said, in response to questions about a second child, "It’s not that we have no plans for a second child." Kim Da-ye added, "By the time Jaei turns two, she’ll be able to talk a little," and laughed, saying, "Jaei has really become a chatterbox. She says 'No' the most."
Park Soo-hong said, "We plan to ask Jaei about a younger sibling once she gets a little older and can talk." Kim Da-ye also said, "We’ll ask Jaei directly whether she wants a sibling and make the decision based on that," showing that they intend to respect their daughter’s opinion.
Earlier, the couple had spoken in more detail about their second-child plans in a video released on the 1st. At the time, they visited a fertility clinic with their daughter Jaei, and Kim Da-ye pointed to embryos in frozen storage, introducing them as "friends who will become Jaei’s younger sibling." She also said, "It’s not completely unplanned, and we’re thinking about the second child for the latter half of next year or the first half of the following year."
Meanwhile, Park Soo-hong and Kim Da-ye married in 2021 and welcomed their daughter Jaei in 2024 after undergoing in vitro fertilization.
