[Sportschosun Reporter Jeong An-ji] Park Soo-hong and Kim Da-ye explained why they are raising their 20-month-old daughter at home instead of sending her to daycare.
On the 15th, a video titled "My First Answer... Everything About Dahong and Jaei, and the Story of Park Soo-hong and His Wife" was uploaded to the YouTube channel Happy Dahong.
In the video, Park Soo-hong and Kim Da-ye talked about their 20-month-old daughter, Jaei, who is currently being cared for at home.
Kim Da-ye said that Jaei is approaching 20 months old but has not been sent to daycare yet, and explained why. "My husband and I took Jaei to Lotte World yesterday, and we have also done a lot of forest activities with her. We let her play in the sand, play in the woods, and do all kinds of things," she said. "We are making memories together."
Jaei's happy moments with her mother and father were also shown, drawing warm smiles.
Park Soo-hong also smiled as he recalled memories with his daughter, saying, "We are spending time together in a way that makes Jaei raise her arms in delight."
Kim Da-ye added, "Because my husband met Jaei later in life, it feels like he has had less time with her than other parents do." She continued, "So we are trying to spend as much time together as possible."
Meanwhile, Park Soo-hong and Kim Da-ye married in 2021 and welcomed their daughter Jaei in 2024 after undergoing in vitro fertilization.
