[Sportschosun Reporter Jung An-ji] Tiffany Young, a member of Girls' Generation (SNSD) and a musical actress, spoke candidly about how the group reacted when she announced her marriage.
On the 15th episode of SBS's "But Seriously!", Tiffany Young and Kim Ye-won transformed into "Yumi" from the musical adaptation of "Yumi's Cells" and visited a boarding house.
That day, Tiffany Young honestly shared how she felt after recently filing her marriage registration with actor Byun Yo-han, becoming the first married member of Girls' Generation (SNSD).
She said, "I was number one," adding, "I was the member who seemed most likely to marry last. I was very planned and methodical. It was a time when I was extremely focused on my career."
Tiffany Young went on to explain how she ended up getting married almost by fate. She said, "It wasn't in my plans, but he appeared," and added, "We met while working on a drama, and at a point when my life and rhythm had already taken shape, I found myself thinking, 'I want to be with this person.'"
She also drew attention by revealing how the Girls' Generation (SNSD) members reacted when she announced her marriage. Tiffany Young said, "Seohyun is the youngest, so she cried and said, 'I can't let my sister go.' So I told her, 'I'm 37.'"
She continued, "Everyone burst into tears. Hyoyeon said, 'I didn't know you would be the one to go.'" She added, "Some members said, 'Now I can go too,' while others said, 'You're really an adult,' so I replied, 'We're 37. You're an adult too.'" Her comments sent the set into laughter.
Tiffany Young also spoke candidly about what made her develop feelings for Byun Yo-han. She said, "He is a very decisive person. Everything about him is clear, including his actions. He is responsible, someone I can rely on, and someone who leads me. That's when I felt, 'This is the one.'"
