Seo Jang-hoon Tells Divorced Woman Who Failed at Three Relationships, "Don't Start Too Quickly" ('Ask Us Anything Fortune-tellers')

[Sportschosun reporter Jo Yoon-sun] Seo Jang-hoon gave a blunt warning and advice to a guest who said that all that remained after her divorce and three failed relationships was emotional pain.

On the 369th episode of KBS Joy's "Ask Us Anything Fortune-tellers," which aired on the 15th, a 38-year-old art instructor appeared and said repeated relationship failures had left her distrustful of men.

The guest said, "I dated three times after my divorce, but all of them ended in failure," adding, "I'm now wondering whether it would be better not to date at all."

She said she married in 2016 but divorced a year later for financial reasons, and has since raised her daughter alone. She then began meeting new people, but in her first relationship she learned that her partner had gone on a breakup trip with someone else while they were dating, and the relationship ended after repeated infidelity.

In her second relationship, she said the couple broke up after clashing over differences in values about childcare and personal time.

Her last relationship was no easier. She was drawn to a man in a similar situation who was raising a child on his own, but the relationship ended after repeated suspicion and baseless assumptions directed at her, she explained.

She said she could not easily give up on the relationship, especially because his children and her daughter had grown close during their third romance. Seo Jang-hoon responded, "You may think you are making a choice for the children, but in fact, you just couldn't let go because you liked him."

Seo Jang-hoon then emphasized, "You need to filter out the strange parts while getting to know the other person," adding, "Rather than starting in a hurry, it is important to take your time and understand them slowly." Sookun also offered warm advice, saying, "I hope you take better care of yourself," and "If you want to show your daughter a good example, you need to be even more careful about who you meet."
