The June 15 episode of TV Chosun's hyper-realistic documentary-style variety show "Lovers of Joseon" featured Lee Yong-sik's granddaughter Lee-el's first-birthday celebration.

Lee Yong-sik's entire family gathered for the event, including his granddaughter Lee-el, who was born last year, as he attended a local event. Lee Yong-sik, who has recently been busy with childcare and has lost more than 20 kilograms, joked, "There is no yo-yo effect at all when you're raising a child. The weight just melts away." The host of Lee Yong-sik's granddaughter's first-birthday party was Park Soo-hong, and the guest list was packed with comedians, senior and junior alike, as well as singers.
