Yoo Jae-suk Takes the Lead in Pushing for the Establishment of the 'Jangha Jang Hang-jun Hall' "Theaters Came Back to Life After 'The King's Warden'" ('Happy Together')

KBS's new variety show "Happy Together: Glad Not to Be Alone," which premieres on Friday, July 10, is a storytelling music audition program led by Yoo Jae-suk, who listens to people, Jang Hang-jun, who listens to stories, and Yoon Jong-shin, who listens to music. The show follows the narratives and harmony of a wide range of 'life teammates.' It is also a return project for "Happy Together," which spent 20 years with viewers from 2001 to 2020 and became known as the foundation of KBS variety shows, marking its comeback after six years.

As the episode 0 video, "The Man Living with Happy Together, First Look at the Glasses Trio," released on Saturday the 13th, surpassed 800,000 views just two days after its release and drew attention, Yoo Jae-suk caught the eye by stepping up as the head of the committee pushing for the establishment of the 'Jangha Jang Hang-jun Hall.'

Yoo Jae-suk kicked off his full-scale praise of Jang Hang-jun by saying, "Theaters came back to life after the movie 'The King's Warden.' At this point, we need a Jang Hang-jun Hall," and then even came up with the name on the spot, asking, "How about 'Jangha Jang Hang-jun Hall'?" Jang Hang-jun went one step further, joking, "That hall should only screen movies with bad CGI," and directly suggested operating rules for a theater named after him, drawing laughter. He turned the much-talked-about 'Tiger CGI' into self-deprecating humor.

Yoon Jong-shin then added fuel to the fire by bringing up the scene that caused confusion over the genre, saying, "When I saw the tiger CGI at the preview screening, I thought, 'So it's a comedy genre.' Later, I thought the king's son was the funny one." In response, Jang Hang-jun expressed regret, saying, "It was because the release date was moved up," and Yoo Jae-suk smoothly moved into 'soothing the master,' saying, "But it worked out well, didn't it?" Flattered by Yoo Jae-suk's acknowledgment, Jang Hang-jun puffed up with pride and boasted about his own eye for talent, saying, "Casting Yoo Ji-tae as Han Myeong-hoe was innovative. Casting is also directing," bringing the two close friends to their knees.
