JTBC's new variety show "Love War," which premieres on June 23, is a dating reality program in which dating experts Lee Hyori, Seo Jang-hoon, and Kim Hee-chul decide whether couples on the verge of breaking up should stay together or split up amid a fierce battle.
In particular, the no-filter, real-life advice relay that Lee Hyori, Seo Jang-hoon, and Kim Hee-chul will deliver on "Love War" is generating strong anticipation.
Ahead of the premiere, the production team of "Love War" released the main teaser and a preview clip from the first episode, drawing attention.
The released video also reveals a special lineup of diplomats, including Yuri, Jiye Eun, Lee Joon, and Ye-won, catching viewers' eyes. Yuri lashes out at a boyfriend who was two hours late to meet his girlfriend because of exercise, saying, "Just break up and date yourself," while Lee Joon heightens expectations by getting fully immersed in the stories, saying, "My heart feels like it's being squeezed."
Among them, Lee Hyori stands out.
With her signature sharp and practical advice, Lee Hyori keeps dropping one zinger after another.
To a girlfriend struggling because of her boyfriend, she does not hold back, saying, "Just meet another guy," and, "Those kinds of stories are upsetting."
More than just criticism, Lee Hyori also offers deep empathy and support to young people experiencing a war-like romance, adding a touching note to the show.
Kim Hee-chul suddenly apologizes while listening to the stories, bringing laughter to the set. Watching the couples' situations, he is shocked and says, "This is like my ex-girlfriend from the past," and even goes into self-reflection, asking, "I used to act like that back then, so why did I do it?" In the end, he even stands up and bows to apologize to his ex-girlfriend.

The male client, a personal trainer, had received an expensive luxury bracelet as a gift from a female member. As more shocking behavior by the client is revealed, Seo Jang-hoon reportedly declares defeat from the very first episode.
