[Sportschosun Lee Ge-eun] Han Jeong-min, a cast member of 'Love After Divorce Season 3,' has been clashing over childcare issues with racing model Yu Da-yeon, one year after their remarriage.
Han Jeong-min and Yu Da-yeon appeared on the tvN STORY program 'Lee Ho-seon Counseling Center,' which aired on the 16th.
Yu Da-yeon first vented her frustration, saying she had been fighting with Han Jeong-min for the past eight months since giving birth. She alleged, "My husband is extremely selfish and only thinks about himself. When the three of us go out with the baby, he pays more attention to his own appearance than to packing the baby's things." She added, "I had postpartum depression, but I didn't show it. But my husband says he has postpartum depression too and asks me to let him go to the gym and the dermatologist. I married this man, but I think I regret it."
Yu Da-yeon did not stop there. She stressed, "I think it's cute when the baby cries or has a bowel movement. Even when the baby bumps into me, I think it's cute, but my husband says he hates that. He says he wants the baby to grow up independently and well." She continued, "When I give the baby baby food, he wants the baby to eat it right away, and when I put the baby in bed, he wants the baby to fall asleep immediately. I'm so hurt that my husband gets angry at the baby."
She also expressed renewed hurt, saying Han Jeong-min once came home at 6 a.m. while she was pregnant.
Han Jeong-min presented his side of the story. He said he had never once attended a company dinner, even when one was scheduled, and that coming home at 6 a.m. was an unusual incident. He explained, "I was wrong to stay out until 6 a.m. at a 'Love After Divorce' gathering, but I thought, 'It was just once, so she would forgive me.' I only drink once or twice a month."
On postpartum depression, he said, "Because of childcare, if I stayed home for two or three days, I felt like I was going crazy. After one fight, I was eating alone, and I found myself crying for no reason." He explained that he valued the couple's happiness more than the child’s. When Lee Ho-sun mentioned Han Jeong-min's remarriage, Han Jeong-min also teared up, saying, "When I make mistakes with my wife, I think, 'Is this why I got divorced?'"
Lee Ho-sun offered a solution, saying, "Your husband does have selfish aspects, but I think it's because he doesn't know better. You're not a strange couple. With a little adjustment, you can become a beautiful instrument." She added, "The wife wants more from her husband. I think she should be more grateful." She also said, "The husband likes the wife, and the wife likes the child. The two of them are playing tag. I hope the wife pays a little more attention to her husband. From what I can see, the husband is lonely. He says he is doing his best, but the wife keeps saying it's not enough. I think that's what has burst." She then suggested sharing three things to be thankful for each day and addressing each other with respectful terms such as 'Mr.' or 'Ms.'
Meanwhile, the couple announced their marriage and pregnancy at the same time in July last year, and welcomed their first daughter in September.
