[Sportschosun Reporter Kim Jun-seok] Moon Hee-joon, the first idol couple, drew big laughs from viewers with his unusual self-justification, befitting his nickname as the “yo-yo icon.”
On the SBS program Same Bed, Different Dreams 2: You Are My Destiny, which aired on the 16th, the married life of Moon Hee-joon and Soyul, now in their 10th year of marriage, was revealed.
During the broadcast, Seo Jang-hoon teased Moon Hee-joon, saying, "You’re the icon of yo-yo dieting. I heard you hesitated to appear on the show because of it."
Moon Hee-joon did not flinch and instead showed off his trademark wit.
He made the studio burst into laughter by stressing, "People may not know this, but saying I’ve had a 39th yo-yo means I’ve lost weight 38 times."
He then drew more laughs by complaining, "But everyone only remembers how I looked when I was overweight."
Moon Hee-joon also revealed that he has started dieting again ahead of his 30th debut anniversary. He added, "I also grew my hair out for the fans," raising expectations for the new side of him that he will show.
