[Sportschosun Jung An-ji] Actress Lim Ji-yeon drew laughs as she candidly revealed an embarrassing past, saying she was once called a "fashion terrorist" during her time at the Korea National University of Arts (K-Arts).
On the 17th, tvN (Total Variety Network) released a teaser for "You Quiz on the Block," titled "Lim Ji-yeon, whose chemistry with Heo Nam-jun is explosive, was a human sweet potato to classmate Park Jeong-min?! The full story behind the buzz around 'Wonderful New World' revealed."
In the video, Lim Ji-yeon coolly admitted, "I heard my nickname at K-Arts was 'the K-Arts fashion terrorist.'"
She then added, "I had no sense of style. I dressed in burgundy from head to toe," drawing laughter.
She also shared an episode involving her classmate, actor Park Jeong-min. When Yoo Jae-suk mentioned Park, Lim Ji-yeon immediately said, "But Jeong-min oppa was really bad at dressing too," prompting laughter. She went on to say, "I was shocked when someone who was no better than me said I couldn't dress well," and recalled, "I showed up in a burgundy look, and he said, 'Are you a sweet potato? A sweet potato has arrived.'"
Lim Ji-yeon also revealed behind-the-scenes stories about actor Heo Nam-jun, her co-star in the globally No. 1 buzzworthy series "Wonderful New World."
Lim Ji-yeon said she did everything she could to make Heo Nam-jun look cool. "I thought that in a romantic comedy, it was important for the male lead to make charming gestures, or to look really handsome or sexy," she explained.
She added, "For Seori to live, Seol has to live too," and said, "So every day I would tell him, 'I gave up backlighting. Do you know you're getting all the lighting? You absolutely have to come out looking handsome.'" Her remarks drew more laughter.
