[Sportschosun Jung An-ji] Koyote's Bbaek Ga shared a close call from a past relationship, saying his ex-girlfriend found a text he had sent to a friend: "She didn't spend a single penny again today."
On the 17th, Maeil Broadcasting Network (MBN) released a preview for Dongchimi titled, "Bbaek Ga: 'You may not believe me, but I've dated both kinds of women'... A billionaire crush vs. a love interest buried in debt."
In the video, Bbaek Ga was asked whether he would choose someone he loved 100% but had no money and even debt, or someone he liked about 50% but was wealthy. He answered, "100%." He added, "You may not believe me, but I've dated both kinds of women," and explained that he chose the woman he loved even though she had no money because he had been with her a little longer. In the end, however, he said the relationship ended in a breakup.
Bbaek Ga recalled, "When I was dating someone with no money, people around me tried to stop me." He continued, "I asked for advice, saying, 'I really like this woman, but she doesn't spend money.' She didn't spend a single penny all day."
Then, one day, something unexpected happened. Bbaek Ga said, "After having a drink, I sent a message to a friend in the car on the way home, saying, 'She didn't spend a single penny again today.'" He added, "But she saw the message." At the time, his girlfriend immediately asked, "Do I not spend money?" and Bbaek Ga said he replied, "Don't you?"
Bbaek Ga said she was older than him and told him, "I didn't spend money because I thought it might hurt your pride if I did." He said the excuse made no sense, and he finally exploded with the frustration he had built up, saying, "How could that even be a thing?"
In particular, Bbaek Ga said, "Then she suddenly called me 'kid.' When people fight, they should say 'hey,' but because she was a bit older, she called me 'kid.'" He added, "I kept repeating, 'Don't call me kid, call me hey,' and we eventually broke up," drawing laughs with the story of how the relationship ended.
