[Sportschosun Lee Ge-eun] Hyelim, a singer and former member of Wonder Girls, revealed a surprising behind-the-scenes story about her long-term relationship.
On the 17th, the YouTube channel "Noppakku Tak Jae-hoon" released a video titled "Wonder Girls' Sunye and Hyelim, K-pop pioneers who defined an era, from idols to mothers of five."
Tak Jae-hoon asked Hyelim, "During your relationship with your husband, did you keep breaking up because you wanted to meet other men?" Hyelim answered candidly, "I dated my husband for quite a long time, but I didn't have the nerve to date two people at once. We would break up, then I would briefly see someone else, and repeat that cycle."
Tak Jae-hoon added, "Do you regret going back to your husband now?" Hyelim replied, "I got married when I was 27, so I do wonder if I should have dated a little longer. In particular, rappers and chefs seemed cool, so I do feel some regret that I never got to date one at least once."
Meanwhile, Hyelim married former taekwondo athlete Shin Min-cheol in 2020 after seven years of dating, and the couple has two sons.
