[Sportschosun, Reporter Lee Gae-eun] Actress Park Jung-soo revealed that she had already prepared her burial clothes a long time ago.
On the 17th, a video titled "Park Jung-soo vs. Park Sul-nyeo, Insadong showdown lol" was released on the channel "No One Can Stop Jung-soo."
That day, Park Jung-soo visited the hanbok shop run by her close friend Park Sul-nyeo. As they chatted, Park Sul-nyeo said, "I made a wonsam for you to wear when you go to heaven," revealing that she had made Park Jung-soo’s burial clothes.
Park Jung-soo said, "I’m old enough now that I don’t know when my time will come. Burial clothes are not cheap, and they take a lot of work. I’m not the type to easily say, 'Oh, thank you,' to people, but I was really grateful." She added, "In a year with a leap month, all we need to do is make my husband’s," referring to the burial clothes for her husband, producer-director Jeong Eul-young.
Park Sul-nyeo recalled, "For the late Lee Soon-jae, I made burial clothes in the form of a durumagi, and I also made burial clothes for the late Lee Sang-yong for his 80th birthday celebration." She added, "His wife contacted me to say thank you. I heard he went off wearing those burial clothes well."
Meanwhile, Park Jung-soo made her debut in 1972 as part of the fifth class of open-recruitment actors at Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation (MBC). She married a businessman in 1975, but later divorced by mutual agreement after having two children. Since 2009, she has been in a common-law relationship with producer-director Jeong Eul-young, the father of actor Jung Kyung-ho.
