[Sportschosun, Reporter Lee Ge-eun] Comedian Song Eun-i, CEO of Vivo Media Lab, revealed her building in Sangam-dong.
On the 17th, the YouTube channel "Jung Sang-hoon, Not Jung Sang-hoon" released a video titled "How Did Song Eun-i, Who Was Unemployed, Get Back on Her Feet? (+The One Line That Stayed in Her Heart)".
Jung Sang-hoon opened the video in front of a grand seven-story building in Sangam-dong. A cafe was located on the first floor. He explained that it was Song Eun-i's company building, saying, "She started as a first-generation YouTuber in 2015 and built this building. It is one of Sangam-dong's hot spots." The building owned by Song Eun-i is reportedly now worth about 15.7 billion won, up from around 7 billion won.
He met Song Eun-i and asked her to share the secret to her success. She first offered advice on how to succeed as a YouTuber, saying, "To survive in this red ocean, you have to put in a lot of effort at the beginning. Thumbnails, ideas, and the number of content pieces matter."
She also spoke about the size of her company. She said the business is divided into production, management, and commerce units, and that the total number of employees is about 50. Song Eun-i added, "Because we are a content company, we value the quality of our content. Even if we work hard, it may not make money, and the results may not come. I want to make content that may not be useful, but is harmless."
Song Eun-i also said she personally takes part in final interviews when hiring employees, and that she values character more than ability.
