Im Ji-yeon Reveals She Had Her Eyeliner Tattoo Removed: "It Was More Permanent Than Semi-Permanent... I Took It Out Because It Was Uncomfortable"

[Sportschosun reporter Jo Yoon-sun] Actress Im Ji-yeon revealed that she recently had her eyeliner tattoo removed.

Im Ji-yeon, who appeared on the March 17 episode of tvN (Total Variety Network)'s "You Quiz on the Block," was featured as an actress from "Brave New World."

That day, Im Ji-yeon confessed, "I removed my eyeliner tattoo." She added, "When I was 20, semi-permanent makeup was very popular. So I got an eyeliner tattoo, but it was not semi-permanent — it was permanent, and it would not come off."

She continued, "It would swell a lot if I tried to remove it, so I had not been able to get rid of it until now. But when filming, I had to cover my eyeliner with makeup for each role, and it was uncomfortable, so I had it removed completely. These days, removing it is the trend."

After hearing this, Yoo Jae-suk made everyone laugh by saying, "You really seem to follow trends a lot." Im Ji-yeon replied, "Trends are really important. You have to try everything that is popular. I even ate butter rice cakes and spring cabbage bibimbap."

Yoo Jae-suk then teased her, saying, "Butter rice cakes? That was trendy ages ago. Everything you talk about is old-fashioned," drawing laughter. Im Ji-yeon shot back, "What has come out recently?"
