[Sportschosun Kim Jun-seok] Actor Song Si-an shared warm memories from the set, along with his thoughts on the conclusion of Netflix’s series "Chamgyoyuk."
On the 17th, Song Si-an said on his social networking service (SNS), "I learned so many things through 'Chamgyoyuk,'" as he reflected on finishing the project.
He added, "There were times when I faced my own shortcomings and felt overwhelmed, but I think what helped me endure those moments was the warmth of Director Jong-chan and everyone on set."
He continued, "I hope everyone stepping out into society can meet someone warm, so that they do not feel alone," and added, "I sincerely support everyone moving toward their dreams."
He also expressed his gratitude, saying, "I sincerely thank everyone who worked hard for 'Chamgyoyuk' and everyone who watched it. It was an honor to be part of it."
The photos released along with his message included scenes from the "Chamgyoyuk" set and behind-the-scenes shots with the cast.
In particular, a handwritten letter directly delivered to Song Si-an by actor Park Ji-yeon drew attention. She played the mother of Woo-jin, a student victimized by school violence, and moved viewers to tears.
The letter contained words of support and affection for Song Si-an, along with the message, "Let’s meet again next time in a warm role where we can embrace each other," creating a heartwarming moment.
Meanwhile, "Chamgyoyuk" is a Netflix series that follows the work of the Office for the Protection of Teachers’ Rights as it stands with victims and works to restore order in schools.
