Park Mi-sun's Investment Criteria Changed 180 Degrees After 16 Rounds of Chemotherapy: "Searching for Restaurants Instead of Clothes"

[Sportschosun reporter Jeong An-ji] Comedian Park Mi-sun confessed that her outlook on food has completely changed after her battle with cancer.

On the 18th, a video titled "You live in Ilsan New Town and don't know this? Park Mi-sun reveals the life-changing restaurant she praised..!" was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'Miseon Impossible.'

In the video, Park Mi-sun visited a Pyongyang naengmyeon restaurant she often goes to and, after tasting the seokbakji served before the meal, praised it enthusiastically. "It's a well-fermented radish kimchi. It's so delicious. It really wakes up my appetite. My dead appetite is coming back," she said, adding with a joke, "But I should stop my appetite from coming back," which drew laughter.

At that point, Park Mi-sun said her thoughts about food had changed dramatically after her cancer treatment. "These days, I search for good restaurants a lot," she said. "In the past, I wasn't interested in delicious food, but now even one meal is better when it's tasty." She added, "Like Yong-nyeo's mom said, I don't really need to buy clothes anymore," and drew attention by saying, "From now on, I'll invest in eating good food."

Park Mi-sun also said on MBN's Someone's Precious Family, which aired on the 9th, "When I eat something really delicious these days, I think, 'I should get healthy so I can eat lots of delicious food.'" She added, "Now I really want to live by eating things that are good for my body, without holding back on good and tasty food that goes into me."

She also said she is carefully managing her diet for her health. "Instead, I barely touch charcoal-grilled meat or processed foods like ham and sausages that contain a lot of additives," she said, sharing how she is putting health first.

Meanwhile, Park Mi-sun stopped broadcasting after being diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer in December 2024. After surgery, 16 rounds of chemotherapy, and radiation therapy, she has now completed treatment and is recovering.

Speaking about her current condition, Park Mi-sun said, "I'm continuing treatment while staying healthy. I'm still on medication, and I'll go for a checkup next month. I get regular checkups every six months."
