[Sportschosun Reporter Park A-ram] Singer Ailee has denied recent online rumors that she is pregnant, saying they are not true.
On the 19th, Ailee's agency, A2Z Entertainment, said, "She is not currently pregnant," and added, "If there is good news, she will share it herself."
Earlier, Ailee appeared on stage at a Coffee Festival held at Gyeongchun Line Forest Trail and met with fans. She wore a white long dress paired with denim pants and delivered her signature powerful vocals and stable live performance.
However, after the performance, videos and photos taken at the event spread through SNS and online communities, sparking unexpected pregnancy rumors. Some netizens speculated based on her looser-fitting outfit and gestures during the performance, including placing her hand near her abdomen.
Interest grew even more because Ailee had recently revealed that she and her husband were preparing to have a child. Online, congratulatory messages and comments suggesting a possible pregnancy continued to appear.
But with the agency directly denying the rumors, the speculation now appears to be ending as a misunderstanding.
Meanwhile, after marrying Choi Si-hoon, Ailee has consistently shared her IVF journey with fans. Through their YouTube channel, the couple opened up about their efforts to conceive and received support, and they also honestly revealed that the first embryo transfer did not result in pregnancy.
Later, while continuing additional attempts, they were advised by medical staff to take a short break. They are now said to be slowly continuing their family-planning efforts while taking time to recover physically and emotionally.
